Water Body_25.25, 121.61 is a long-term ecological practice that challenges anthropocentric spatial perspectives, reimagining the boundaries between the natural and the artificial, and between humans and non-humans. At the heart of this project lies an aquatic ecosystem situated within a semi-open indoor space. Through technological intervention, the system maintains and shapes environmental conditions to attract non-human species, creating a multi-species cohabitation space where humans deliberately recede.
Driven by a feedback system comprising water surface radar, embedded sensors, and automated maintenance mechanisms, the project continuously records and responds to environmental shifts, including the interactions of animals, humans, and other organisms. Over time, the system accumulates data, evolving into an "ecological sculpture" endowed with real-time perception and the capacity for archival growth.

Centering on the core imagery of a "torch," this work symbolizes the transmission of energy and guidance. Through kinetic mechanisms and electronic control systems, it portrays fire as a digital dynamic—a fusion of sound and light—transforming it into an "artificial flame" generated by machinery and signals. Situated within a local context, the piece bridges traditional symbolism with technological translation, evolving the torch into a contemporary energy landscape that is constantly generative, fluid, and ever-changing.
